Adjunct Professor - New York University
User Experience Design (Fall 2021 - Present)
This required graduate course offered a primer on UX Research Methods and Design practices for designing technology products. All learning and practice was contextualized within two main projects - the first, a large problem definition project focused on finding the most important problem to solve for a certain user group, and the second, a design project which culminated in a high fidelity prototype.
Framed around the Double Diamond design process, students gained real-life experience in a classroom format. Consulting with real users, teams spent the semester digging into the design process and solving real problems with digital solutions.

Administered during the COVID-19 pandemic, the class was held entirely remotely and distributed.
Using design thinking and narrative as mainstays of the coursework, students examined potential careers in the space, and developed a plan to achieve their career goals, learning from experts along the way.
